Who knew pickleball would be this explosive for all age groups?! And that it would not stop with our local athletic clubs and public parks but extend into travel. And that includes cruise ships. Perfectly blending travel, fitness, and social fun.

Here's a list of cruise ships where you can pack your paddle—or borrow one—and enjoy the game at sea.

Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Conquest debuted the line’s first full‑size dedicated pickleball court in late 2022. Other ships (Carnival Breeze, Vista, Glory, etc.) offer pickleball in shared SportsSquare zones. Game gear provided; play tends to be first‑come, first‑serve, occasionally set up only for limited segments on longer cruises.

Celebrity Cruises

Nine ships with courts: Pickleball is offered aboard Celebrity Beyond, Apex, Eclipse, Equinox, Solstice, Constellation, Infinity, Millennium and Summit. Courts enjoy scenic views and a wellness‑oriented travel atmosphere—courts are part of their open‑air wellness spaces trend

Holland America Line

Every Holland America ship now features a dedicated, top‑deck pickleball court thanks to its exclusive partnership with the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA).

Complimentary beginner lessons, tutorial videos, equipment and even pickleball starter kits on board.

Princess Cruises

New ships = dedicated courts: Discovery, Sky, Enchanted, and Sun Princess include full pickleball courts. Older Princess ships (Coral, Emerald, Regal, Royal Princess) use shared sports courts at scheduled times.

Virgin Voyages

Valiant Lady (and Scarlet Lady): Shared sports courts host pickleball play alongside basketball/dodgeball; open on sea days only. Equipment generally provided, though popularity limits open slots. Adults-only, lifestyle-focused voyages where pickleball is part of the active fun.

Pickleball is now one of America’s fastest-growing sports. It’s low-impact, easy to learn (great for seniors or families), and very social—making it ideal for cruise vacations.
