Traveling Solo: Building confidence finding adventure.

There’s something quietly powerful about traveling solo—especially as a woman. It’s not about being fearless or having it all figured out. It’s about choosing yourself, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure.

Solo travel doesn’t mean being alone all the time. It often leads to meaningful connections, shared meals, guided adventures, and moments of independence balanced with support.

It’s adventure with intention—and a reminder that you’re braver, more adaptable, and more curious than you may have thought.

Sometimes the best travel companion is you.

Not sure where to get started? I can help with that. As a solo traveler myself I have a different approach to building itineraries for women traveling solo.

Private yachts: This picture is from a luxury yacht cruise to Croatia that I took solo. I highly recommend this experience for solo travelers. The maximum capacity is 34 passengers, the crew plans the itinerary and transportation, and most meals are on board, making for seamless travel!

Travel Companies that specialize in solo travel and I also work with companies that plan group trips-some are all women traveling solo, some are couples and include solo travelers. Most of them are small groups, so really you are traveling alone but with the support/companionship of others.

Cruise travel: Many cruise companies are now discounting the single supplement fee and offer meet and greets for solo travelers. In addition cruise travel is so easy, once you are on board meals, excursions and interactive activities are available to you. Add that transportation to excursions are almost always included. Less figuring out, more time to enjoy your destination.
