We live in a world where AI can plan your week, fold your laundry (almost), and remind you to drink water. So you may be wondering: “Why work with a real-life travel agent when I can ask a robot to plan my vacation?”
AI Has Data… I Have Experience
AI knows information. I know travel. I will have an open discussion on the perks and quirks on your travel destinations.
I Text Colleagues, Not Search Engines
When I’m unfamiliar with a destination. I don’t guess and I don’t bluff. I reach out to my network of trusted travel professionals.
AI reads reviews. I ask experts. And yes, travel agents absolutely message each other. Like, hey what is the real vibe at that new adults-only all-inclusive in Cabo? ”You don’t get that level of insider honesty from an algorithm.
I Don’t Work for You… AND You Don’t Pay Me
One of the biggest myths out there is that travel agents cost more. I’m paid by the travel companies—cruise lines, tour operators, resorts—not by my clients. (Please check with your agent, they may bill differently, this my my style not all agents are alike.)
That means:
You get personalized planning and inside knowledge
You don’t pay extra for that guidance
And you never have to spend five hours comparing ocean-view cabins on deck plans that look like engineering blueprints
AI doesn’t charge you, but it also won’t fight to get you the best upgrade.
Bottom Line
AI is great for recipes, playlists, and reminding you where you parked. Travel agents? We still shine where it matters:
✨ Personal service✨ Industry knowledge✨ Real-world experience✨ Insider connections✨ Human understanding✨
And best of all—you don’t pay extra for it
